Colorado's healing centers have generally come in somewhat cheaper than Oregon's, partly because the state allows smaller "micro" licenses with lower overhead.
Why it costs what it does
The cost is mostly labor and compliance, not product. A facilitator is present for the entire administration session — often six hours for one client — plus preparation and integration meetings. On top of that: state license fees, lab testing on every batch, insurance, and a facility that has to sit unused between sessions. The mushrooms themselves are a small fraction of the price.
